Stronghold Crusader and extreme Crash

Have you tried installing Stronghold Crusader Extreme from scratch, without having the previous version of Stronghold Crusader.

If you want to back up your profiles/saves/maps/scores, you can do so by copying crusader.cfg, skmasters.dat, Saves and Maps folder located in C:\Program Files\Firefly Studios\Stronghold Crusader.

Once you have installed Stronghold Crusader Extreme, place these files and folders in My Documents\Stronghold Crusader and then the game should run and your old data will be available.
