I've been to Medival Time before (in Chicago), but the LA one is a bit more impressive. We spent about an hour and a half looking around the place while we waited for the next show to start up, checked out the handcrafted swords and talked most of the time. Everyone was directed to the stadium and I was looking to get serviced by some saucy wenches, but unfortunately we got a he-wench to serve us food. It was alright food ("Dragon soup", chicken, spare rib, potato, and bread, all eaten with your hands), but the show was pretty cool. We were cheering on the green knight, he was totally dominating everyone until he was taken out by the white and black knight who was supposed to have had a major back injury...blast! The rest of the show will go undescribed for those who plan on checking out their nearest Medival Times, because it's quite the hoot'n annie.
Most of the folks decided to go to sleep after Medival Times, but Greg, Ray (One Dead Angel), Dan (Sniper) from the AI clan, and I went to Manhattan Beach and talked a bit in what's supposed to be one of the best sports bars in the area. It was an interesting place; the bar was fairly small but had like 8 $3,000 LCD screens around the top of the room and a smaller LCD screen tv in every single booth...and they had all paid it off not long after they opened it. Insane. Anyway, we left for the hotel and that was that.

In the morning, we met in one of the conference-type rooms at the Radisson to wrap-up the event. Not much was discussed, just talked about what we thought of the game and just some general gaming topics...and we were officially graduated from Empire Earth 2 University (holy kittens!). Ian, Jon, and a couple of the folks with earlier flights had to run, but the rest of us went with Guy and Greg to check out Venice Beach.
Venice Beach is quite the beach, with tennis courts, handball courts, weight-lifting facilities (properly called Muscle Beach?), and stores with colorful t-shirts. The time came for me to get to my flight, so some of us headed to LAX and I said goobye to the rest of the guys. I got on my flight to Springfield, drove home, and went to sleep with whisps of massive armies slaughtering thousands in my dreams...ah EE2...
